There was a mailing list that was out there for a while where folks were able to discuss things about Banana and authors like her. It didn't seem to last very long so I created my own in hopes that the discussions would continue.

Here is the description of the group that I created (originally at eGroups.com but it has since been aquired by Yahoo!) at Yahoo! Groups called, Amrita: After reading Banana Yoshimoto's novel, Kitchen, I became a fan instantly. I created this discussion list in hopes to create a community that will support Banana and authors like her. "There are people I have yet to meet, others I'll never see again.
